rear windows problem - from rear

Hi.
Had a problem with my Zafira rear doors, didn't worked windows etc, found out that the cables were broken. Ok, fixed them up and now everything seems to work fine, except one thing. Windows buttons in rear doors doesn't work, both doors. Child protection is off aswell. The buttons doesn't light up aswell, so i guess they doesn't receive power. However i still can open and close windows from drivers seat. Any suggestions where to look up for the problem?

Nope. I read that thread before, but this in not the same situation. As i said, i fixed broken wires, but problem still occurs.

I ended up repairing about 10 wires, 2 on the drivers side and like 8 on the passenger side.

It was a very strange situation as the window would work from the rear door but not from the front

Then it switched on me.

Do the rear speakers work?

Yeah, eveything works except for rear buttons. As i said, i already repaired all the cables.

Is it just 1 door? If so I would see if you can just pop the 2 rear switches out and swap them (not sure if you can) see if the problem swaps doors if so its just the switch

It could easliy be the switch with wires breaking they could have caused a short and melted the switch inside maybe

As i wrote in my post: both doors buttons not working.
I could pop and swap, but both have same problem.

Its the fuse for the back switches.

I had this it would work from the front but not the back

If you have fixed the wires it should be the fuse. Its in the boot n its a purple fuse thing. (Theres a picture on my thread about it) well it is on a zafira B.

Zafira-a doesn't have fuse for switches. Only fuse for windows genraly (12V).

Oh I dont know then the fuse was a box fuse (I think thats what there called)
In the boot on the near side rear quater in the boot.

Id get electrical tester on the switches to see if there at fault

hmm. You are not talking about windows control module or something?

Im not sure

I just know when that fuse went it didnt work.
In the zafira B its the same box fuse as the rear heated screen so just borrowed that for abit. (It wasnt my car so I cant take pictures or tell you the fuse number as the cars in france at the minute).

yeah, but where does you took it out? What is the exact location?

Its in the boot.
In the left hand panel. Its quite a large fuse box. Im not sure on the fuse number, I think it was 12
