Jethro101 im off on Thursday to have a look at a coupe turbo,its done 41k with full service history 2 owners from new..apart from the obvious ie smoke from the exhaust oil leaks from the engine does anyone else know of any other things to best look out for ??
Sjdickso Like you say smoke on startup, stem seals are prone on these from what I have read, turbos see if it's had a new unit most go for VXR units and fit restricter bolts. @[deleted] and @[deleted] may be able to give more advice on these engines.
Daz As si has said above. Most common is smoke... And rust.. If it has any it's had a poor repair in the past, the shells are galvanised so shudnt rust at all..
