flatbeat Not sure if anyone can help My Astra coupe has a strong oil smell coming from the front end when its warm The car don't have any oil leaks it don't seam to be using oil Has anyone come across this before
evocarlos check the normal areas like the rear of the rocker cover for a leaky gasket any oil would be burnt off by the hot exhaust giving the smell but no drips also are you running a catch tank vented to atmosphere ?
flatbeat No oil catch tank No drips anywhere it's had regular oil changes I am running a piper x cone filter
evocarlos maybe your getting some venting from the engine passing out the filter the vacuum of the engine when running should be enough to pull the vapor in the the engine without you smelling it tho
