adam91 Hi all my sump started leaking after having the timing chain done. I've taken it down 3 times and sealed it with different sealants. I've now bought a second hand sump left it 24 hours and it still leaks lol any tips or best sealant to use I've use loctite and rtv. Thanks in advance

IDI_AMIN Give the 2 surfaces a wipe with petrol when its clean and dry you apply sealant if you leave overnight before putting oil it should be okay Also try using more sealant i used the loctite stuff and thought it was quite good
adam91 That's brilliant thank you mate. I never knew there was a tightening sequence. I've been putting the bolts in and tightening them up tight lol.
