I hope someone can tell me what is causing the following problem. When I drive at a constant speed, then remove my foot from the gass pedal, wait a few seconds and then hit the gass pedal again, I feel the car...hmm how to describe...jump? It's as if there is no tension in my timing belt and the car needs to tighten the belt again before it will accelerate again.
What could this be? Maybe my timing belt is stretched or the tensioner is not doing his job anymore. Are there any other things that could cause this behaviour e.g. faulty enginemounts or something with my clutch, dual-mass fly-wheel? The release bearing is probably not that good anymore so probably need to change it someday in the near future. Could that cause this behavior?
Edit: Now I think of it. Maybe faulty injectors or MAF? Pfff. where and how to start to locate the problem?
Hope someone can tell me what this could/can't be.
