I just thought I would update this with a link to all the times ran that day just in case people need a idea what a stock z22se supercharged engine should do.... that said, the standard clutch was slipping too!

Decent burnout Dave 😃

Gives me a rough idea of what mine will do once I fit the charger but no doubt still feel a bit underwhelming compared to the Corsa and especially your nova

haha yeah your corsa and my nova are something different....but that said I would like to see the coupe do our nova's times, I think its possible!

I'm sure once you've finished playing with the coupes engine it will be as quick and the coupes have got a good chassis for it

They sure have, the coupe is a fantastic car, aero's and chassis... I'm looking forward to seeing how it'll all plan out :-D

went up the pod the other week and thought it was just slick like someone had dumped oil at the start line lol

York has a shocking surface so still some more time to come off that. Concrete runways aren't good for start line grip much like Elvington at TOTB

That's unusual, pod is probably the best strip in Europe right now... there isn't another that even comes close in the UK
Most the high power fwd can't get within a second of their best anywhere else.

it was my 1st time up the strip just didnt feel the same as pulling on the tarmac up the road🙂

I guess you have to get use to the feel of the strip, its different to road driving .... but York is kinda like farm road driving haha... the only reason we go is cause its local so good for a test day!

Imagen a 30 year old car park that had a lorry screwing it trailer round all day for 30 years that what driven at york like.

i drive a better farm track every day david lol and surprised you felt slip like carl they glue the track before every big event and japfest 2 was that week i think
