List of Parts Required For Cam Chain and Balance.

I am looking the full list of the parts required to carry out for the cam chain and balance chain. The parts that l have so far are.
Balance Chain Kit. Part No. 55563405 and Timing Chain Kit Part No. 55570337 is there anything else l may required.

oil and filter, you will have to drop the oil first.

It going to be a expensive month with my car insurance due at the end of the month. I found a local mechanic who has quote me £200 to have the 2 chain kits plus a new water pump fitted. Many thanks for the feedback it was very appreciated.

i hope he knows what hes doing, i got a pro to do mine who has done many many wonderful timing chains and many many wonderful balancing chains hahahaha(reference to a movie?)

I used this mechanic many years ago and he was highly recommended by a friend. He is usually servicing high performance german marques. So l would think he knows exactly what he is taking on. Its a pity that you where closer evocarlos . I definitely would have taken my car to you. I have been reading about your beast on total vauxhall. We envy you and a top motor.

i have had people come from all over the country one or two drove 4 hours to get here 🙂
just make sure he sticks to his price most garages that take them on dont realise the work required to get the job done and for £200 in a garage thats a real fair price 🙂

@[deleted] I think he is genuine as he told me l be better doing 2 chains as l was only going to do the timing and the water pump which l still to get. When I have done a online search for a water pump l am getting 4 different numbers. Would you know by chance which 1 would be used in a (53) Astra
