Hi All,
I've been driving my Vectra just over a year now. Had some work already done on my car, but lately I've been reading alot about cars and mainly Vectra's and Z22SE engines and starting to do some simpel maintanance and tuning stuff myself. I'm actually an IT guy (software developer) so didn't (uuhm don't haha) know much about cars, but I'm learning.
For now I have planned to remove the EGR-valve and to clean my PCV (so remove my inlet manifold everything connected to it and clean everything nicely). After that I'll have to see what's going on with my ABS (probably my reluctor rings are broken/faulty) as my ABS light does go on when making contact, however it doesn't light up when I break hard and it feels and sounds like my break pads (how are these called in english?) are grinding against something. Oh and my car really likes to drink oil. About 1 liter every 2000 km. Not really a big issue, but I still think it's a bit too much. So I've still enough to do.
Hmmm if I read the story above back, then I definitely did learn some stuff past couple of months 🙂
