baggers72 As in the title. Im going to swich back to air box when I get one - the car came with a cone. Do I need to replace the 2nd o2 sensor? how can I test the sensor - electrics not my strong point. :-)
baggers72 This I dont know. Got the car about 3 or 4 weeks back and havnt had much chance to explore yet. The check light has either been sprayed or removed so this issue has been there before I got it. The only obvious change is the induction kit - and that is going this weekend in exchange for airbox and poss inpreza intake pipe or Vec C if I cant shoehorn the impreza one in. Are there any obvious ways to check the Cat without removal (cant see there would be).
Sjdickso I get the same fault code, and it's down to the 200cpi cat I got no faults from open cone filter or my Viper one I have now. If you look under the car you may be able to see if a weld in one has been installed. Hope that helps.
baggers72 OK will do - if I put a spacer on the sensor will this assist with the problem? Ive seen some with 90/120 degree bends - what size is the thread? M18? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lambda-O2-Oxygen-Sensor-Boss-Extender-Spacer-M18-x1-5-/200973357974?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item2ecaf21396 Item number on Fleabay 200973357974 any good?
Sjdickso Got a straight line spacer on mine and it takes around 300 - 600 miles for it to pop back, an angle one may be better also if you stick some wire wool in its meant to help. I just clear the fault when it pops up.
