5M1THY These engines are brilliant providing it has a good set of chains if you don't know the history then change them and regular oil changes.. I can only speak for my own but it's pretty bullet proof.
Dave_Gilbert welcome to the site, listen for a rattle on start up but at 99000 it wants doing asap for the peice of mind do both the timing and balancing chain its worth it.
Jethro101 hello and welcome..i have always liked that shape Vectra,.. like a few people have said here contact evocarlos for a price on doing the chains..When i asked Vauxhall for a price they wanted the best part of £700 to change mine :wtf:
TonyK7ng Thanks for the welcome and the info guys. I have spoken to Carl and his price is fantastic. He's a very long drive away from me but I am gonna sort the cash and parts out then gonna get myself booked in with him. Fingers crossed I don't have any chain issues till then 😉
