Losing Oil throttle body, air intake area - Vec C

I have a Vec C z22se 03 plate.

Over the last year or so I have been gradually losing oil, followed by coolant.

I recently spotted that the clip on the air flow connected to the throttle body was very loose and it appeared oil was seaping out.This has been replaced.

All the underside of the air intake is also covered in oil. The bottom half of the throttle body (Closest half) and the engine cases below are also covered in oil. There is no sign on the top/rear of the throttle body and none appearing around that area of the engine.

I had two thoughts, throttle body not sitting with a perfect seal, or the air intake has a split. I have checked this to the best of my ability and unable to find an issue.

Has anyone else experienced this? or can advise what to check for. I have been advised oil pressure could be causing it

I would start by cleaning the whole area and keeping an eye on fresh oil anywhere If there's no obvious signs and it's not a serious leak.

As 5m1thy said, plus i would take the air intake off and check inside, if there is oil in there have a look at the breather pipe from the cam cover, then head for the egr.

I have cleaned the air intake exterior and the bottom face of the egr and will keep checking.

Last time i did dismantle it all and clean inside. I did have to clean the oil from within the air intake as well. Should that not of been there?

There is always going to be a chance of some oil in there but there is a point where you have to make a decision as to whether or not there is to much there. These engines do use a bit of oil and if you were to remove the throttle body i guess you would see oil in the inlet manifold, so some is normal but a lot is not. looking at your picture i am not convinced you have a lot, as said previously, give it a good clean off including the dip stick tube and keep a close eye on it, that way you can gauge how long it takes to build up.
