Hey guys, I've got a shock that's knocking really bad and I think I've got another on the way out. Had a set of shocks and springs fitted 5 years ago (supersport 45mm) so I've been thinking about replacing the whole kit. I've only got a small budget of around £200, so been thinking about coilovers, seen JOM, FK's and some unbranded kits for under 200, just wondering what people would recommend?

Check on eBay is some budget one's 155 I think made in Germany but don't know that quality they are.

Not 100% sure bit JOM and FK are made from same place for the budget ones, most get broken inner springs seem to last around the two and a bit year mark.

Depending on what your wanting I would possibly look at Bilstein shocks with either OE springs or Ebiach?

This has always been my favourite setup

TBH I only ever read poor comments about the FK kits for the Vec C. I've been running around on Bilstein shocks and ebiach springs for a few years now and no problems.

I've got pretty cheap coil overs and there absolutely shit to be honest...
nasty on any dip in the road not just pot holes, handles okay but skips then spins out lol also as it so stiff over speed bumps or anything where both rear wheels hit at the same time it almost feels like it wants to hook on.. there's no give at all. I'm definitely going for shocks and springs when I change them....
