I take it all the sump bolts are out? The sump gasket is properly causing the issue. I normally extend a Stanley blade out and gently cut between the sump and the block. I then usually use a small leaver bar to completely break the seal and remove the sump or place a block of wood against the sump and hit the wood with a hammer.
yep got a/c compressor bolt out.I can't even get a blade in the groove,I have tried driven wedge in and levering with a bar where I can get it,and also smacking it with a rubber mallet.just don't want to crack it.
