mattypowz Hi all. After some advice. Can you use Hammerite paint to spray them with or do you need a specialist paint? I have a silver vec c Sri and can't decide what colour to spray them. Was thinking red but that is quite a common colour. Cheers Matt
Sjdickso I wouldn't spray them, I have used Hammerite smooth brush on for years on calipers and redo them every year the discs on the area that are not swept by the pad I use VHT paint.
Dave_Gilbert i bought propper caliper paint, its cheap enough, i got orange cos i didnt want standard red or blue but didnt want to go to silly, 125ml of paint which was more than enough for all 4 calipers on a vectra c sri.
evocarlos i like to take mine off strip them clean them up (thru a shot blast if cast iron) then paint with 2k acrylic paint
mattypowz I like the idea of orange. Think it need to be a bright colour to stand out against the silver. Cheers all
