have been losing some water on this car for a while now so decided to fix the issue then make some mods to the engine
the gasket had failed to seal from the water to crankcase so left me with water in the oil
dug out some z22yh rods and pistons and fitted a new set of rings and bigend bearings
after a bit of a clean with neat tfr and a old broken ring there ready to go
after cleaning the block surface the pistons went in
new elring z22yh gasket on
head was stripped valves cleaned and the face skimmed
all lapped in with new elring seals and elring head bolts
even took the time to remove the flash from the ports opened the exhaust up
all done and running covered 5.9 miles so far need to do a few to run the engine in 🙂
