Burnzi Thanks to a unhelpfull mate using op com to clear a fault code he has reset my ecu and now the car wont turn over with fault code p1610-00 immobiliser function not programmed any ideas will be help full ive gave up now
evocarlos you will need to reprogram your immobilisers chips to the car as the reset is like a factory restore on a phone so im lead to believe
rushy Thats some mistake, going from fault code clearing to accessing the CIM! Umm, TBH I would get someone who knows what there doing with Tech2 to sort it out for you bud. As you've found out opcom is a dangerous tool on the vec C.
Burnzi Ive used if for reading and clearing codes i didint even know you could to what he has done stupid idea i should have just did it. wheres best or who is best to get to out to reprogram the chips its not a original key either i dont think, because its the flip key and i have a receipt for it being programed i think it would work with the original keys but i never got them with the car
evocarlos op-com is ok until you enter the security code 🙂 as long as you don't do that its fine 🙂 theres a vid on youtube of the reprogramming called cloning an ecu with op com
