blondi_89 cant beliee my mechanic quotes e £276 for supply and fit timing chain then when i ask about balance chain he then quotes me £450 for the lot taking note he diesnt give me much confidence telling me he hasnt done one on this car before only a meriva
Dave_Gilbert the meriva would have been the z12xe engine, iv done 2 of them there piss easy but i wouldnt tackle a z22 timing/balance chain they look very easy to get wrong, but then again carl makes them look easy because of how many hes done..

blondi_89 yes lol got it back seems to be smoother but wheni pull off sometimes it hesistates then pulls coluld this be the idle control valve cheers
