Hi. Have rebuilt the top end of my Y22YH and installed new chains. Have done everything correct up to now just cant get the tensioner to activate. Have pushed against tensioner arm and it does move slightly. Plus there is a little slack between sprockets when i turn it over by hand. Can i activate the tensioner before installing it or is this a no no?
