Yea that's your pad sensor, there is only one on the car and it should locate on the passenger front inner pad. The quick fix is what you see, twist the wires together and tape up. The sensor only costs a couple of quid and dead easy just to clip in when the pads have a good bit of meat on them. - What a tight bar steward whoever did this was. I think the pads are fairly new, so when I replace these I will plug a new sensor in. I dont like bodge jobs, they annoy me.
As for your other codes, the CIM (Column Integrated Module) is sited just behind the steering wheel, it has most dash functions running through it, like steering angle sensors, indicators, all the dash dials run through it, ABS and TC. The CIM can fail and our age Z22SE vec C's were prone to it.....but I tend to thing that was down to poor diagnostics as when mine went I solved the problem by cleaning the ABS plug! Odc you may feel but the power for the CIM seams to come through the plug for the ABS unit. The plug was later superseded with a better plug so GM must have known there was a fault plus I thing there's mention of it on TIS. - Im going for a drive later so after I come back il plug opcom in againg. If the CIM error returns, I will definately try cleaning the plugs. Do i have to unplug the battery? I dont want to loose my bc data 🙁

So as a bit of general maintenance I'd take the plug off and give it a little squirt of wd40 or even better some contact cleaner. I always disconnect the battery doing this and if you do also be prepared to have your stereo code ready (you wont need that as you've upgraded) but you will also have to reset your one tough feature on the electric windows and sunroof if you have one fitted.
To do this just hold the down button for the windows, keep it held down a few seconds after the window has stopped moving and you will hear a click or beep then do the same for the "up". Do this on all windows and one touch will have been reset 🙂 - Thanks for the tip. I will do this if I take the battery off
PS I take it you worked out the C doesn't have an ignition live for your HU, to get round it we take an ignition live from the ciggi lighter. - Intresting you mention that. I remember with vauxhalls you have to swap the red/yellow wire round on previous vauxhalls ive installed in. On mine I didnt have this issue at all. I admit im using the patch lead to retain my steering controls so this may have the wires already switched. My stereo doesnt loose its memory at all and continues playing where i left off all the time.

Steve 🙂
