Think I will lay both looms out and compare listed as one for all ? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-OPEL-VX220-ASTRA-VECTRA-ZAFIRA-2-2-16V-ECU-KIT-Z22SE-PROGRAMMED-/221415458453?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item338d63c695

I know the vx220 uses a slightly different map than the others as my mate mark had problems with his vx cutting out and lumpy idle when hot idling drove fine though, turns out his Ecu was off a Astra

PowR_Remap Hmm... I think i'd rather look at the map myself and see if I can resolve it... Unless there are other reasons for a lumpy idle, been like it since put the engine in? @[deleted]

PowR_Remap No dont get any of that, its just a lump idle.. Yea carl I didnt really think adjusting the map would do it, it was like it before I remapped it. I was actually going to up the idle a bit lol.. Carl what things could cause a lumpy idle?

Carl what things could cause a lumpy idle? i knew you were going to ask that lol tb dirty egr (if applicable) balancer chain stretched main chain stretched dirty air filter dirty/ faulty lambda sensors i did say there was a few 🙂
PowR_Remap Haha! TB is clean EGR Removed AirFilter Clean Lambdas hmm Chains hmm.. they were done 10k ago before the engine went in... I do get a great load of torque high up the rev range though.. was thinking maybe the timing is out a notch?

PowR_Remap Lol Carl... Silly question about Opcom! Course I have I map cars and code keys and immobilisers lol Will do the o2 learning tomoz an see if that works.

dewismotorsport Reply from my friend: "There was a couple of error codes that were TC and can-bus related. The VX has neither. And that cutting out. They just put the standard VX map on it, it was about £100."
