I have taken the head off today ready to replace the piston rings and stem seal and whilst I thought I disconnected everything I obviously hadn't!!!!
After removing it I was faced with 3 stripped wires, ones clearly the oil pressure sensor (blue/green) the other two I think are crankshaft position sensor (brown/green and brown) and knock sensor (brown/green and brown/white), whilst the oil pressure is only 1 wire that will be straight forward, but the other two have two wires each so I have no idea what the correct way round they go in the connecting plug.
I,ve looked in the Haynes manual and can't find anything for any of these sensors
Does anyone know the correct way round they go?
