buying new car today

What a great day it's going to be today (hopefully) as going to pick up my new astra 2.2 bertone edition. Its all ready brand new mot been valeted, washed and polished for me all the leather seats have been cleaned.😃 😃 😃

So excited as have a few ideas for lil mods for now, I have gto side skirts and gto front bumper (not cheap knock off one) made by imex design which I got for my astra mk4 a while back before some careless driver on phone wrote it off.:mad:
Before I made up my mind to buy it I joined this site and its the great people and help on here that helped make up my mind as know if im ever in need of help or advice I got a great bunch of people on here that will help.

Well have now got the car and chuffed, but there is 1 fault and that's the passenger seat tilt not working hopefully its just the cable come off if not a new cable is cheap enough anyway.

Took her for a nice long drive and pulls great with nice quiet engine, im so happy and will try to upload some pics on here tomorrow if I can.(y)

Glad you got it, cables are cheap but heard they are a nightmare to fit depending on interior may be better getting a second hand seat, I have binned a prefect set of SRi interior as it wasn't worth a penny.

I found some post on the web saying that the cables are a pain in the ass but the seats in car are in immaculate condition creme leather, im not in no hurry to fix that as the other side works so will deal wit it in the future.

If its leather fair enough, if it was fabric you can pick them up dirt cheap and still in good nick.

Does anyone know how to remove the seat tilt surround and handle please, as had a look today and took the leather off back of seat but cant seem to work out how to remove the tilt handle and that.
Any help would be great lads. Thanks.

As i have looked on web and cant seem to find any same colour as mine.

Thanks Smithy. Yeah Carl it does look kinda black.

On the log book it says green, it's a kinda darkish green paand paint code is Z382 pal.
