EGR seat snapped off

This is where it's snapped off, both ports not affected but need some advice on blanking, short of replacing the head is it possible to weld or any other recommendations

just drill and tap a new bolt hole, then modify an egr blanking plate to suit. Hang the egr valve over the side or fit an egr cheater.

You could also weld it up or drill and tap the large holes and fit two blanking plugs - 1/2" bsp or whatever it would need.

certainly not worth scrapping the head for the egr housing, should be easy(ish) to tap and plug the two ports
