100,000 miles or 10 years. A lot of the chains start failing around 65-70k.
If it's been well serviced with regular oil changes etc, that could help it last as long as it has.
The chain kits themselves have numerous improvements now, including better oil nozzle, uprated tensioner from the z20net.
