to hone or not to hone

hi guys,could anyone please tell me if the cylinders of the z22se engine can be honed or not,i had some people telling me not to hone a chrome cylinder.i have to install a new ringset and need to know about the honing part and if so ,what honing tool can be used.

when installing new rings it is always best to glaze bust the surface to help the new rings bed in
im sure a little work with a honing tool would be fine
i have one like this and use a little clean brake fluid in the cylinders for lube only takes a few strokes to get the job done

ether count in seconds the time in cylinder and match for each one or count how many times in and out

ive not honed a z22se yet but have done a couple of engines in the past when i fitted new rings
and the one i linked to above is what i have 🙂
