Using Astra ECU on Zafira

Can anyone tell me if I can put an Astra mk4 2.2 ECU set (with transponder/keys) into a Zafira A 2.2 without reprogramming? Same age (03), both manual, all part numbers match. Most of what I've read on here suggests it would be OK but if someone's done it already that would give me more confidence.

worse case is you reset it all using opcom and the security code, unless you got a tech2

cant see why it shouldnt work swapping over the transponder on the barrel as it programmed into the chip on the key fob, and ecu/ immobilizer will work off that

the big problem will be the alarm, and you will need the security code off the new ecu

alarms not linked its part of the central locking unit

should all fit ok, if you swap ECU, chips, and transponder. that's what ive done in the corsa.
