First of all my engine code is Y22DTR but i dont know the difference lol, its a 2.2 Vectra SRi DTi 2003 151k on the clock.
There is nothing to say the chain has ever been replaced
I did a self service at the weekend and things sound a little whirry since. At tick over things sound ok but when i get to around 2000rpm and hold it there it sound like somethings rubbing. if i put my foot down a little then hold the clutch in i hear like a whir as if something is slowing down (if that makes sense). The oil match the oil grade in the service book and ive had the rocker cover off and the chain was well lubed and look visibly ok with very little play. I cant upload a video at the min coz i snapped a few rocker cover bolts (didnt learn from the 1st one and did 4 in total) and im waiting for replacements hopefully tomorrow.
