Hi,
Had both cam and balance chain kits fitted 20 k miles ago (second time) at local garage., for the last 10 months have been suffering from high vibration with the occasional bout of smooth running, changed plugs,air filter, cleaned throttle body but still no change, recently it was running reasonable but after stalling it on the driveway (slight incline) it started vibrating again!!
Had a look at car this morning, I checked the balance chain tension with my fingers via the water pump access plate and found it was suprising slack, could this be causing the vibration issues, please help driving me and the wife mad and have no money to buy a new car!! 🙁
