Rear Registration bulb

Hey all, what kind of bulb is used in the rear number to light the registration plate? As I'm looking for a LED replacement/upgrade, also is it an easy bulb to gain access to? Many thanks

I've got small festoon bulbs but it's an easy thing to do two screws

It does have quite a narrow beam compared to the halogens.

You need to pop the whole light fitting out so you can swap the wires round, easy enough to do.

its a 10w festoon type

21w is to much @[deleted] would be like driving a xmas tree 🙂

i saw the one dave posted it lit the whole of the rear end of the car up lol im gona stick with my dimly lit numberplate make is less visible 🙂
