I think it is leaking between the waterpump and the engine block, where the waterpump touches the block.
Its hard to get a good look on the street.
1 week ago i whas already at a garage, they looked at my car there whas no oil or gassmell in my coolant tank.
No coolant in my oil, i removed the coil pack, all of the spark plug hols where dry.
So the mechanic has put the coolant circuit under pressure at there where no leaks whe looked allot at the waterpump with pressure on it and it didnt leak, thats wierd.
Because now i finnaly noticed it does leak.
I dont know much about waterpumps and stuf so i just wanted to know, if it leaks where does it come from, why do i need a new pump, when it is a new 1?
Or does it only need a refit.
i also readed in other topics that its better to use a GM Original waterpump, thats why i ask if other people got problems with a FIA pump or meaby they got a FIA pump and its good.
This engine drives me nuts, i wish i readed this forums before i bought this car.
Because when i bought it it had 97000 km on the clock and i readed after the 100000 km they need a new chain and stuff.
So it made me scary that i wil damage the chain so i got new chains and a new waterpump.

But this engine got lumpy idle.
Bad gearbox.
Oil use.
And after 100000k they need new chains and stuff.
and when the waterpump leaks you need to renew it but all the stuff on this engine is very hard to do and takes allot of time so i dont know why people love this engine so much 😛
I droved Suzuki swift gti's with more then 200000 k on the clock without any problems.
