F23 Gearbox's

Hi,
Can anyone confirm if the F23 as fitted in the 2.2 astra has a cable or a push rod selector? Also is reverse down and right or up and left as in the F17 unit?????

2 cable push rod from the stick to box
reverse = down and right

down and right??? oh dear, there is issue one for my conversion, Zaf's are up and left.

you will probably have to change gear stick and cables from a 2.2/gsi zaf.

Or you can fit the one from the mk4 diesel 2.0. They are cable run and reverse is down to the right...
