I fitted both cam and balance chain kits to myrecently acquired Z22SE powered Astra G coupe a couple of months back along with new oil and filters, it was quiet for a while, but now I can hear the chain rattle when the car is warm again! I'm at a bit of a loss really, it doesn't get ragged (I rarely go over 3,500 rpm as I'm too tight with juice). I'm going to take the cam chain tensioner out of the back of the head at the weekend to check, but I don't really want to have to change it all again, as it was a cheap car that's now starting to look like it'll be expensive (and it took bloody ages!). Shame really as I like the car. Any ideas anyone?
