Zxr33 Evening, just wondered if any one knows where I can get replacement 2.2 direct injector seals from? The little white ones that help seal them in, thanks in advance Rob

Just popped in to vauxhalls using the part no above and it was coming up with injector securing clips! But no seals! According to the vaux man they don't do seals! Which I find very strange! As it's a serviceable part! :-( Can anyone shed some light on this or know where I can obtain seals from!? Thanks in advance guys!
MikeS no and when I did do further investigation they were around 60 quid standardized fit m8 as I have used seals off a vauxhall on a rover
evocarlos ebay is your friend 🙂 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vauxhall-signum-vectra-C-Z22Y-Siemens-fuel-injector-seal-kit-for-24404012-/151207289544?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item2334a822c8 @[deleted] there hp injectiors so have a big and a little seal not the twin o-rings like the z22se 🙂
evocarlos MikeS said: £30 ouch not really when you consider they have to hold the full force of the cylinder 🙂
Zxr33 MikeS said: £30 ouch Thanks for the reply! I was doing some research today! And spoke to a injector specialist he stated you need to use specialist tool to put the bottom seal on as it's Teflon! But I was also thinking if you warm them up you should be able to slide the over with a bit of care and attention! Has anyone else replaced the seals them self or did you use a specialist!? As for the £30 price tag I guess it is what it is! And since I got the car for peanuts it's a small price to pay I guess!! But just a little tip.... If you can avoid removing the injectors do so as at least one of the seals will split! And lots of care and attention is needed removing the small retaining clips! So best to avoid removal if you can!
evocarlos i dont have a z22yh mines the z22se with viton o-rings but i can imagine it would be a pain to do the Teflon parts
Zxr33 After reading the eBay item it also states a special tool to install the seal! So I'll send mine off tomorrow! The guy I spoke to will fit them free! So guess it's a no brainer really! Thanks for all your input! I will update once I've got them back! Rob!
