So I eventually got the money together to buy new top mounts, eibach pro kit springs and bilstein b4 shocks. I fitted the rears myself on thursday and the old shocks were knackered! I depressed them on the ground and they didn't push back out! And also discovered that the rear had odd springs fitted!
So went round to my mates garage today to get the fronts done and and a vehicle health check before the winter kicks in. The drivers side anti roll bar link is broke so that's were the annoying knock/ clunk has been coming from. I only had them done this year so gettin it replace on warranty Tuesday 🙂.
The car feels so much nicer to drive now, much firmer and with the rarb fitted the back likes to come out when cornering hard. Also under accelerating and braking the car doesn't squat any were near as much. Both such worth while mods imo!
