Steering wheel volume control

I have a Sony MEX-BT3900U stereo fitted into my 03 plate 2.2 Astra coupe. Does anyone know if you can make the standard steering wheel controls work with the stereo?

yes if you have the headphone jack plug on the back of the head unit

you have to get the sony to vauxhall address

As Carl said, you need the connector which plugs into the back of the HU. I had one fitted when I had a Sony Xplod HU in my MK4 Astra.
