OAKMERE i would check your mapping going through pistons like this. Though most of the b207 engines in vx220's have been forged when running over 300bhp. I think the here are a few with std bottom ends running 330bhp without issue.

Are any of the vx220's running harrop on a standard engine oh and im way past 330hp its got a 4 at the start 🙂 lol But i do know the standard pistons dont like spark cut There forged because the standard piston dont like much over 330hp This engine was fitted to prove some people who say and keep saying the stock b207 can handle 450hp it cant as a complete unit it needs to be uprated to survive 🙂

evocarlos well i have finally got the car out and did some stuff all the little bits out ecu,loom,piping blocks out now just to get the gearbox out
evocarlos vxr seat progress (they don't fit) lol balancer delete lots of little jobs today and the engine went in sandblasted some of the brackets to clean them up currently rebuilding the head 🙂
