508 🙂 there both the same price so went the the 8injector and 8coil support so if one day i get a v8 i can use it on that 🙂 the ecu plug and the pin out is one scary bit of pdf to look at lol i should of bought the universal flying lead loom lol

is this a full stand alone ecu?
been thinking about getting some thing better for the corsa but finding one that will work with the canbus so the dash still works is not easy. 🙁
the DTA i got for throttle bodies would work for the engine but needs a 60-2 trigger wheel. (got a spare z22yh crank 😉) and i would still have to piggy back standard ecu in to trick the dash.
to much thinking for my tiny brain! :confused::confused::confused::sleep::sleep::sleep::oldman:

it is a full stand alone supported dbw and rpm(i hope) the speedo is fed off the abs ecu 🙂 bit harder on a full canbus car i would guess
i need a 60-2 for this also so the z22yh crank i have is in use lol but i may just do the external mod 1st
but i can get rid of the icm and twin coils and just run the lsj coils t/c,launch control,etc etc

like fuck am i paying £170 for the webcon trigger wheel kit......

ventured into the 60-2 world and made my own
the trigger pattern and the locations

made a sensor bracket

after some cutting and drilling

i started with the z20net wheel but found it had no extra metal to mount it with then went with the z22yh one

sensor in the right place

tdc set and then the sensor on #20 🙂

had some help from dad to get it true to the pulley with a dti it was less than 0.01mm by the time we were done

the biggest issue you will get from that crank sensor bracket is vibration, eventually it will crack and cause a false rev limiter - which is exactly what happened to mine (n)

good job mate, but you know you will end up fitting the yh crank 😉

Yeh I would have used angle iron for the bracket. About 2mm thick 😉

If it comes to it in the future I will just fit the aem cam & crank device drivin off the inlet cam

24 crank and 1 fo cam obviously its a 12 tooth wheel x2 for mounted on the camshaft

added a fuse box to the infinity loom with led fuses

playing with the infinity tuner software there's so much to play with look at al the tabs :p lol

and ls4 8pin to 6pin adaptation (not the same as z22se pin layout!)

got a few bits off ebay
cable braid and shrink tube for loom completion

m8 x 1/4" stainless steel spacers for the bracket support
they fit like a glove 🙂

sensor and bracket in place

after fitting the trigger wheel and setting it up with a dti i then moved on to getting the sensor 0.5mm away from the trigger notches

looks ok to me in the vid 🙂

got bored last weekend and pulled the engine looms out after cutting off the piggy back

like an empty canvas

abs plug to pic up the wheel sensors

pins for the abs plug

oil temp probe its tiny and some brass hex bar

guy at work turned me down an adapter for the oil pressure sensor m12 x 1.75 to 1/8npt had to do a little work to finish it

3mm hole thru the middle

tapped out the 1/8npt

test fit in the block

test fit of the sensor

new 4pin plug for the lsj swap alternator and a diesel fuel injector plug for the crank sensor

3mm dowels and m8 dome head bolts for the trigger wheel

new 2 steps colder iridium plugs

plenty of ceramic on the new plugs

better support for the crank sensor and its a new sensor

new dome head bolts for trigger wheel dowels fitted also

made a stainless bracket for the ecu

next step is wiring 🙂

the 8 work very well with my 100% water injection harrop build but did find without water they were not hot enough they were still very white possibly a 9 or 10 is required without the water injection

8's fall in the power range I should be running but I doubt I will be in the proper cylinder temp to keep them clean

looking at the fuel pump relay its 12v switched and not ground switching like the z20let so need to mod some of the wires

looks like it may just be one wire swap

coils in and wired up with the signal ground for error checking

new throttle body plug fitted and the iat all braided up

spliced into the factory plug to pick up the accelerator pedal and some other wires

didnt finish it today still lots todo its going to have to wait 🙂
