With fail safe option
Think a lot of us are waiting for the dual map software to become available from obdtuner

So when water runs out the map auto magically changed to a safe non water injection map

My plan was only to use water 100% to just keep iat low and try and keep a Consistant 350 ish hp

I'm also going to be injecting after the laminovas with two jets either side

The thing with the aqua mist is its outrageous price I have the option of 2 maps on the aem with a trigger from when the bottle is empty not setup like that tho

well it was 338hp on a 24c day so in colder weather more and with the meth 50/50 mix I would guestimate about 20hp on top
I'm still running the pcv from the rocker cover to the supercharger inlet so having the jet after the charger but before the laminovers the methanol would keep the fins clean the jet before is to stabilise the temp of the charger that also would keep rotor tolerances closer meaning higher boost pressures for longer "in theory"" 🙂

no it broke 2 weeks ago and only got the harrop on monday 🙂
and no it was not mapped to meth i didnt want to rely on the always being fluid in the bottle i just dont have the parts to make a fail safe system running the 2 maps as 1 of the maps is the default cs map and the other is setup to do mots

looking back at some of the old pics it could of just been a fault with the block

took the head in for a skim today at 11am phone call at 2 to say it was ready 🙂

just got the cams back in and all the hardware sumps clean and fitted to the block im just waiting on the new head gasket and crank seals then it will be going back in the car for trial fittment of the harrop

not at 14psi not a chance i have had the rubber coating from the head gasket in the headder tank for a few months made worse by putting the Evans prep fluid in
tbf im glad its gone now before the harrop went on as i dont think it would of lasted long with it installed

its been a long couple of days 🙂
new head gasket and crank seals

block in the car

head on bolted down

more parts installed

almost fits 🙂

manual timing done in the car what a bitch

new oil and filter

had to do some cutting 🙂

heat shield for the water link tube

maybe keep it a bit cooler in the bay

lots more bits fitted

new alloy rad is scrap it was the wrong height and shape anywho

fuel lines adjusted

bonnet shut adjusted in shape

map sensor modified to suit

looking more like it 🙂

new rad with the spal fan the fits right unlike the alloy one

charger cooler bottle got a new bracket

even put a stop on it so it did not twist when tightening the bolt up

nice!

almost done on that side of the bay

ecotec,supercharged,harrop,zzp, uk edition lol

the lsj and the ls4 bolt right on but I don't think the ls4 works with the Cs software

So what u going to be running? lsj? So CS can map it? Or go OBD tune and use the ls4?
