are any from a vec c with the flat ports ? im moving over the z20let a/c pipes so need the pump like this one 🙂 i dont plan to use the pump just swap the end cover and fit it to my a/c pump 🙂

in other news some final engine parts got ordered

kind of like the plx gauge and the ability to add units to gain other readings /boost/egt/iat etc etc
also the fact it gets rid of the factory lambda and replaces the narrow band with a wide band then feeds the ecu a narrow band signal from the wide bands :S

the twin plate clutch and flywheel are now sold 🙂 waiting for the new one to be made still :S

i asked davies craig if it was suitable to fit the temp sensor in the head they said yes
so went to sort the probe out to save drilling the head

the saab sensor and the DC one m12 x1.5 vs 1/4bsp

cut it down some in the drill press with a cut off tool

new thread going on

looks good to me

fits sweat 🙂

but then! oops tried to tighten it up and it snapped off

plan B fit the DC sensor to a saab sensor case 🙂

Guess re cutting the thread took too much meat off it which made it weak. Glad you got it out if it broke in situ.

Hey Evo that's a great thing this kit
Will surely use one for Wideband sensor with my Dutch software.
Do you have a scheme of the factory lambda narrow band plug to connect the SMR output signal ?

the plx should be here soon got to take the center console out to make room for the controller for it and the water pump controller

SM=sensor module R is too much, sorry :whistle:🙂
The factory o2 sensor use 4 wires and the PLX module analog output is only 1 wire.
Need to know how to connect this 1 wire to the 4 wire plug.

Found this on one of your posts:

Correct me if i'm wrong:
I must connect the blue wire of factory plug to the grey analog output signal from SM ?

new 5mm alloy plate for making a balancer chain tensioner blank

and heres how it went 🙂

lots of small holes only way i could think of

and cut out

filed / chamfered / mounting holes drilled / sealant applied

im happy with that 🙂

Much better than a old tensioner. Factory finish and a gram or 2 saved.

i know why i took the above pic now it was to see if the sensor was in the water flow 🙂

been out and put the fai sprokets on the idlers the gm ones have washers on that would make noise

then with the use of a file and the drill press i made some spacers for the inlet/water pump bracket

and they came out well to 🙂

fitted them and the bracket to the block and sprayed some laquer on the front to stop the dirt getting in the pores
