Dave_Gilbert Its abit much for just the block.... but then again you would have another head to polish n port that you could use for your other coupe hahaa
milo Not really brand new 0 mileage, brand new timing chains and then put your aux parts on. So bloody tempted but doubt carl can do an engine in 2 days lol

corsaZ22se carl does man days like me so an engine swap + charging it would be easy. I fitted the 2.2 in the corsa and had it running in 24hours. took longer to get the charger to fit though. wish I had space to store another engine, already got plans for a 3rd 2.2 conversion 🙂
Dave_Gilbert So whats crack? Engine out n put most of your internals into the new block? New rings on the damaged cylinder? Put your newly sprung head on n new gearbox? Owt else
evocarlos its all coming out engine, gearbox, exhaust, subframe, front bumper, rads and some other bits new blocks not due till jan so work in progress atm will see what happens in here lol
Dave_Gilbert Ay carl you know the oil cooler, thats water cooled on the side of the oil filter housing(id say its a oil cooler anyway). Could that be fitted onto a z22se? I didnt want to clutter your thread up but saw it in you pic above so thought id ask. Cheers.

Dave_Gilbert Hahaha, well it looks like a heater matrix inside and oil runs through 1 side and water runs through the other side, seperatly ofcause.

evocarlos no wonder the coolent module plug would not come out it was jammed up with dirt! well its broke now lol just got to drop the car on the floor roll it back and lift out the block sounds easy but there so many steps to get that far
