MY BELOVED 2002 reg VECTRA unmodified (crashed by my daughter after I reluctantly gave her a loan of it for a couple of weeks)
I am ( was ) the proud owner of a vectra b 150. I bought this car as my main car. I bought it knowing that the chain had failed. the body was in mint condition as was the interior seats and finish. so I replaced the chains with a FAI kit and had the guides replaced, the bent valves replaced, seats recut and hydraulic lifters replaced, cost £350 for the head repair. the engine runs like clockwork. no ticks or rattles.
The tyres are in good condition as are the alloys. the brakes and discs were changed for last years 2012 mot.
the rear anti roll bar bushes were changed last month (oct 2013)
I got the car in 2010 with 78000 miles on the clock and I have only done 4000 miles before my daughter smashed the front drivers side. Apart from the front the other panels are in good condition (minor scratches)with the rear and side quarter lights blacked out. it has chromed vectra gsi sill boards. The car has not been thrashed about prior to accident.
I had just clayed the car and polished with autoglym and the car was looking great.
I do not wish to scrap the car so I am putting it on here as I would like the parts to go to a good home.
