Bit of a rant really
Had my 2.2 vectra b for around 6 months now and im pretty sure i have replaced almost everything i can.
Bought it for £450 spares or repairs but it looked ok and ran fine, so I was happy. Since then I have replaced quite a lot including a full exhaust system and new brakes front/rear/handbrake. Even the unexpected snapped coil spring at one point which i did as a pair.
Anyway overall, from start to MOT its come in at £600, which i think is fair as i've had the car valued at around £1000.
NOW, a month on from the MOT its thrown up another problem. Blue smoke under heavy acceleration
Which leads to the question, should I bother throwing more money at it as it is also due a chain, or just sell up before it gets too bad ?
Its on 113,000, chain due a change and now blue smoke. Which I think is piston rings, so head has to come off so might aswell do the chain. Had a quote around £550/600
