milo Well if the weather men are right, doing the rat race to work in the morning going to be a joy with winds of up to 80mph and 40mm of rain  Already moved the coupe off the drive and long way a way from our tree in the front garden. Just to be safe lol
Matt I wish we had somewhere else to move the cars to, but the council won't do anything about the tree. I'm on nights next week, so at least I won't have to out up with rush hour traffic
evocarlos coming back from your end today matt and the muppets on the motorway doing 20-30 so dangerous it held off long enough to get davids chain done 🙂 was expecting to be wet thru
Matt The M1 around ours is a night are at the minute with all the road works and speed limits in place
Matt MikeS said: national speed limit is a fine thing if you have chance to do it I don't mind reduced limits when there are actually people working on the road. It's when you drive for 10 miles at 50mph, and don't see a single person on the section.
evocarlos Matt said: The M1 around ours is a night are at the minute with all the road works and speed limits in place theres been roadworks on the m6 since 1989 there's never any one there they just change the cones and road signs every few years lol i wouldn't of minded but the part in question had no road works !
evocarlos i nearly did that on the way up they can stick there £4.80 up there arse last time i used it was only £2.80 for a car
Matt Back to the storm.....it's not even raining here at the minute, so will see what tomorrow brings!
milo I'm near the coast and the main road to work floods regardless how heavy it rains. When we had that really bad rain up in the north a couple of years ago. It took me 6hrs to do a normal 15min drive as most of the roads where shut down and the 2 main roads to my town were closed off due to morons getting they car's stuck in the massive pools that formed off the fields.
pottsey light rain here at moment ,wind is picking up ,if its blowing a gale and pissing down in morning im stopping in bed I aint going up on any roofs
MikeS meanwhile the government are holding an emergency meeting on how best to deal with the storm unaware that they left a crane above the roof, clowns !
