So this engine is going NA and eventually SC, it has z22se crank, Eagle steel rods, standard z22se pistons and Piper regrind cams.
Eagle rods fitted along with a mint z22se crankshaft
Standard pistons cleaned up well, they are from a low mileage z22se
chains refitted and balancer delete done
Piper cams fitted to the Saab head which was modified for a z22se cam cover. Just need to vernier up the cams and it's done 🙂
The z22se thermostat housing and pipe have also been fitted, but with the new Saab 'O' ring seals and new 82 degree thermostat.
