carson_sri im going to service the car in the next week and looking at buying gm plugs from autovaux was just wondering if they are any good. im using ngk's at the moment. cheers.
pottsey ive always used the genuine vx triple electrode ones ,they are also available in the shop https://www.z22se.co.uk/shop/service-parts/z22se-spark-plugs
evocarlos got nkg PLATINUMs in mine had been in there 55k only just changed them for the charger π but lots recommend the gm plugs π
vx-chris GM for me. Just over Β£2 each with trade club. I'm tempted to try the ngk ones though to see if I can notice any difference
Matt carson_sri said: serviced the car today and put in gm 10w40 and the gm triple electrode plugs. (y) Nice one! So the plugs got there OK? I think I need some slightly bigger envelopes for them!
carson_sri Yeah they came a day or 2 after i ordered (y). the packaging was fine mate nothing was damaged. lol. i didnt think plugs made that much of a difference. but i felt hell of a difference. not sure if thats because 2 of the old plugs where abit loose when went to take them out. but defo be using gm plugs from now on.
Matt I've ran Iridium plugs in the VXR, and it never ran right. Swapped back to GM and it ran like a dream (didn't help I broke the distributor pack taking it out because of the angle you have to get it to!)
carson_sri i will need to take a trip to evos in the new year to fix a few things that i dont fancy doingπ lmao
carson_sri my extension bar was to short so had to put the universal joint on aswell. i was worried it would slip and knacker the plugs lol
