fault code - swirl flaps stuck
no power loss not in limp home mode - drives fine
was either going to
1, used manifold off a 07 08 09 veccy as replacement
2, use Vauxhalls field remedy and fix current inlet manifold.
now just looked at Haynes, all straight forward until it tells me I need to raise the engine to get the alternator off, I don't have the equipment to raise the engine.
has anyone took there inlet manifold off on this car, is the only way of getting the inlet manifold off to do exactly as Haynes says, or is there a short cut?
even though my car still drives fine I want this fault sorted and fixed. I can clear the fault code, but it comes back 2 or 3 days latter. which suggests the flaps are working sometimes ie a intermittent problem?
any advice lads? - really want to have a go doing this myself, just cant be arsed hireing a hoist etc for only 10 mins!!
