Just a quick hello.

I recently picked up a metallic blue X plate SRi with a replacemement engine. It has a code of Z22SE02749. I just want to confirm which engine this relates to as it says ecotec on the rockercover. It needs some work doing to it but for free i cant grumble i suppose. I am assuming right or wrongly its a 2.2 direct inj 147bhp engine.

hey the z22se is just the normal fuel injection 147bhp
the z22yh is the direct injection engine

the direct engine will have a fuel pump where the vectra power steering pump is

z22se with power steering pump by oil cap

z22yh direct injection HP fuel pump by oil cap

Hi Evo thanks for the info, yes its def the standard inj engine, when i started it up yesterday it was really lumpy so possibly a plug not firing or coil pack, will replace the plugs and see what happens
