it's a ball-ache of a job,but the end results are worth it.
I think I started off with 120 or 240 wet&dry,working down to 800/1200 grade.
took me about 3 hours to wet&dry sand all the console parts.
then gave it about 2or3 coats of plastic primer,about 4 coats of star silver 3 (Z157) then about 3or4 coats of lacquer,leaving a good 24 hours between topcoat and lacquering.
