Possible coil pack failure

Hello I'm a new member to this group , I recently blanked my egr with the blank from here and a cheater, I did this as the egr was playing up, all was ok for a week and then today the car started playing up like it was misfire and no power, so I limped home and checked over the blank and cheater and still the same , I have read it maybe the coil pack, what are the symptoms to the coil failing? I need all the help I can get

Hard to accelerate or doesn't do it the same as it should ,bad idling, maybe hard to start sometimes ,maybe stalling now and again ,could be symptoms of a failing coil pack

I think it is in the 100 pound region maybe more brand new ,but me personally if i needed a coil pack i would be going to my local scrapyard to get a second hand one for about 20 - 25 quid.Have you tested the coil pack for sparks

How do I test it, I have no idea how too,
Amazon have a new one for 152 delivered next day.

Just ordered a new coil , will get it tomorrow so fingers crossed all will be well
