Evening guys.
I recently purchased a 2001 Vectra 2.2 Sri on Saturday just past with approx 60 - 70k on the clock. On sunday i got the error on screen Check Oil. So i checked the oil and it was low. I topped up with 5w 30 until today when i got the oil filter and oil changed to 10w 40.
The oil filter was squashed and torn. Anyway when the engine is cold it sounds fine when the engine is up to temperature it is also fine BUT after 20 - 30 mins of normal temperature i can hear a rattle. When i stop the car it is quite loud, but when i turn the steering wheel and keep pressure on it the noise disappers. Any ideas what this could be?
